glo paints question
#5
OK you guys who put the creative painting into your lurs. What I want to know is this:
Has anybody EVER took the time to figure out if those gaily painted lurs actually make a differenct to the FISH?

Some time when the bite was on, did you try all the lures to see if they didn't like a few of them, and bit at others every time?

I'm curious, because I have a sack fulla lead heads of all different size, colors and with skirts of different colors, and I've never, ever, caught anything on one of those Jig things.

Out in the Salt Water I've tried lots of stuff.
Sea Bass are a lot like Crappie. They hang out in great herds.
Out there, when the tide is outgoing, the bite is on! I think almost anything dropped into thier midst will get a bite. In fact they fight over it.
Almost nothing except live bait will entice them if the Bite is not on. Not any color, or Skirted, or jigs soaked in oils and other chemicals. I've had some frustrating times trying to get the bite going to no avail.

Howzit in the Crappie herds?
