On Saturday, there was ice for a few hundred yards out at Rock Cliff. There was one ice shelter out on the ice. The ice had not been there a couple days earlier, so it is fairly new. Should continue to form if the weather stays cold. Fishing for perch on the ice ought to be pretty good this winter at Jordanelle. The DWR suggests keeping a full limit, as the perch are really exploding there. Jan. 1 the limit increases from 20 to 50. Shore fisherman have been doing fairly well at the State Park for rainbows. Night crawler seems to be the ticket--not so much luck with Power Bait. Hope this helps.
