I have been maintaining communications with DWR on their ongoing negotiations between the property owners, county commissioners and themselves. It has been over two years since that area was closed to the public and now it is getting closer to fruition.
I had not heard that the signs were taken down. I have an email in to Chris Crockett for verification of public access and under what conditions. Ultimately there is supposed to be improved parking and launching as well as sanitation facilities. All part of the deal to get the place open again.
I love that part of the old muddy pond.
