On the twist, it kinda gives new meaning to flying fish.
Perhaps that's how it can propagate into an adjacent lake.

I'm way into preparedness and have snares and traps, but don't have a fishing yo yo. They seem heavy and of inexpensive quality.
But, I do have heavy duty fishing retractors often used by fly fishermen. Mine is powerful and lightweight and uses a Kevlar cord and is suited to larger items like a net. It occurs to me that I can re-purpose them to set the hook for unattended fishing in future harsh times when our preparedness is needed.
