any place to fish around Burley, Idaho

hi everybody. I just joined BFT. Thought maybe I would jump right in. I am taking a trip to Burley, to drop grandon off at his mothers after spending the biggest portion of his summer with us. Any way thought maybe would take a pole or two and do some fishing. Only one problem, Never been to Idaho, and so I have no idea where to fish. Anybody have any suggestions.on where to go on the Snake RIver or any lakes to try . and what fish are in that area? would love to tie into a sturgeon but from watching a video or two. I have nothing close to the pole and reel you need. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck. .
