[#0000FF]You and I are among legions of former Starvy fans who are dismally disappointed in the current state of fishing affairs. I had to go back and reread my fishing logs of trips going back a few years. Until about 2 years ago (perch die-off) Starvation was the place to go if you wanted to catch lots of fish...with plenty of bigger fish in the bunch. But the last two years have been a struggle on every trip...just to catch a few fish.
There was a brief window earlier this spring when anglers were catching good numbers of rainbows and a few walleyes. But during the last month I have not had even one good report...and two poor ones from my visits.
Seems like all Utah waters go through cycles. The good times at Starvy were memorable. I guess we just have to wait for better times in the future. But some of us may not be able to wait it out. Ain't getting any younger ya know.
