Fished it with the kids this last Saturday. I think the perch have been nearly wiped out. I have been told by several fisherman that people are encouraged to keep all perch to avoid poisoning the reservoir to eradicate them in the future. (I have not read anything official about that) There are a ton of 10-12" bows that we caught off the dam on a worm with either a marshmallow or floating powerbait to float it off the bottom. We were fishing from a 14' boat and had the best luck on the east side of the reservoir just south of the small peninsula that juts out into the water.
I have yet to land a koke there this year, but in years passed from a float tube I have hit a few in the same general area slow retrieving a worm tipped with some sort of color bait. My buddy was able to land one slow trolling pop gear on a pink squid tipped with shoepeg.
Ditto on the previous post regarding Chesterfield. That was my intentional destination before my nephews got involved, and is where I am heading next Friday and/or Saturday.
