[#0000FF]Wish I could give you more reason to be optimistic. But I have had a few "unofficial" reports from other seasoned Starvyites who are also dismayed at the poor fishing this year.
Earlier in the year...April into May...there were a lot more fish being caught. Mostly rainbows but a few walleyes too. And normally you can find quantities of active fish if you move around the lake checking out the traditional spots. But for some reason the fish seem to be fewer and tougher this year.
Entirely possible that they will show up and start biting somewhere. Last year they concentrated a lot up in the Strawberry River inlet arm for a while.
I'll wait for more favorable reports before I go back over.
