It's looking like our plans were changed due to some family stuff on the 4th. I'll just be heading out first thing tomorrow morning (3rd) with a friend to spend most of the day out fishing. We can't go as far as strawberry for the day as his wife is due soon with a baby. We are looking at Rockport, Echo, Willard, or Jordanelle. Right now, based on the DWR reports, we are leaning toward Rockport. Willard was good when we hit it a few weeks ago, but it's looking to be really HOT tomorrow so I would prefer a little higher elevation.
Any suggestions? I've never been on Rockport. It sounds like trolling is doing well and some people are catching smallies (never fished bass much). I just hope we don't get run off too much with all of the skiers, etc.
