So the number that got bait mentioned of just over 1000 fish destined for the sawtooth hatchery is the actual number pit tagged, or is that the estimation based on the number of tagged fish that have made it over the dams?

Huntsman, it seems to me that much of the info the fish and game mentions about salmon and steelhead is at best an educated estimation.
