Vancouver Island Salmon & Halibut Report

The trophy summer Chinook spawners have arrived and the numbers continue to be excellent. We hit 9 fish on the last trip up to 30 pounds. We kept 3 (30, 22 and 15 pounds) and released 4 up to the 22 pound mark. The weatherman is predicting a long warm and dry summer for us this year which so far seems to be accurate. Very nice high 70's low 80's deg temps already. Here is a pic from the last trip taken at dockside.
