Not this trip last weekend. Had the wife with me and she's not much into the hard work fishing so we just hit the pools along the road up the mountain which are nice if you don't have a whole lot of time or want to bring the wife or kids along. I haven't been up there in a couple years but I have run across rattler's on occasion in the past. I now carry a .22 mag revolver with snake shot up there after a really close call when I slid down a rock to find a rattler at the bottom under a bush and no way to retreat so just had to wait him out.
