Went to the Snake 5/29 afternoon at Marsing. Water is low and clear 66, 67 degrees. Algae is starting to bloom on top but the weeds underneath aren't that bad. We caught smallmouth up to 1 3/4 lbs. Have been really enjoying fishing with weedless rigs. Picked up 3 nice cats also.
The highlight of the trip was the Carp Hunting! I never thought I would get adrenaline pumping from seeing big Carp. I made my first kill of anything with a bow and it was awesome!! 8.5 lber. The blood cloud in the water was way cool. I am definitely hooked on bowfishing now.[inline IMG00910-20140529-1607.jpg] .
