I think we can all see that each of us have are own niches when it comes to fishing. For me I grew up with a fly rod in my hand running a muck on the southfork of the snake as a kid. To me it's home. When I go back to visit I'm not right until I see those cotton woods. On that note I seemed to have transitioned in to an andronomous fisherman mainly salmon and steelhead. I have to say though there are days that I've sat in my tube ripping crappie out of thick cover with a 1/32 oz jig and I thought I was in love. Turns out....... I just love fish. Everything about every species. They intrest me and I embrace every moment I get to see them up close.
It's just a perk when some of them taste good when cooked.
The point I'm getting at is I think we can all agree we love the sport we have chosen to be involved with and we all would be hollow shells of our former selves if we were to lose it.
