While I have never caught a king on land I will guarantee that a 6 foot sturgeon has more pull that any salmon on earth. If I caught a king on land with my sturgeon rig it would flop on the bank at the hook set I give a Sturg. [Wink] A fish using current aginst you in the fight is not strength.
