Sounds like a fun filled day! The weather has been a pinch more cooperative lately. Been over a month since we last made it out to Mead. Got the boat swapped out from Bass fishing to Trout fishing so none of my "normal" gear is in it right now. Kind of weird seeing all my bass gear laying around the garage and not in the boat.
Bummer on the end of the day ramp conditions. I had the same "like" scenario at Echo the last time out. Peeps trying to get their jet skis running taking up most of the ramp while their kids and significant others played all over the pier. But I got to witness justice on this one occasion. A ranger in a boat pulled up to the pier the same time I did... You guessed it none of the jet skis were registered and they all promptly got tickets.
Back to babysitting my smoker and the 10 pounds of pork shoulder that is in it [cool] Going to be eating goooood way later this evening around here and the rest of the holiday weekend!
