New to Idaho

^^^ ya what he said! That's good advice.

I grew up and went to grad school a couple hours south of there. I've never really bothered to go fishing all the way up there simply because there was no need to drive that far to find fish. I imagine you'll find something similar to be the case up there.

Basically I would ask around at the local shops and check the reports in the paper mentioned above, and you'll find that within a short drive of you, you should have plenty of opportunities to catch trout, pike, bass (large and smallmouth), bluegill, crappie, perch, catfish... etc. etc.

What I'm saying is it's a good place to live if you like being outside! Have fun, and let us know how you do! Oh, and welcome to the forum!
