Well, the fish Pend Oreille is famous for.....kamploops trout and mackinaws.....pretty much need a boat and down riggers. However, you can fish for perch in the Duncan Slough area, and also fish for smallmouth bass in the rocky shores in the Hope area. When you get there, you will need to talk to the locals about small lake and river fishing. There are lots of options. Check out the Coeur d' Alene paper on Thursdays for a great fishing report.
