Any of the ponds around Boise should be good for stocker trout.
Depending on your boat and skill level, you could float down the Boise River. Right now it is running about 1,200 CFS at Glenwood Bridge, which should be fine for floating. I would stay away if it gets over 3,000. You can find current conditions for the Boise and many other Idaho rivers here:

There's always the reservoirs like Lowell, Lucky Peak, Arrowrock and C.J. Strike. Check the latest weather report and pay particular attention to the wind. All of them are big, open bodies of water that can get very ugly when it's windy.
