F&G on Salmon Falls Walleye

Funny how everyone on this site knows everything about sfcr even when they don't fish there! Only an idiot would kill every walleye they catch when they are all small! And it's obvious they don't want to kill off all the walleye when they pretty much plant a million in there every other year or so! Just because you have lips, doesn't mean they need to be flapping! The problem is once again IDAHO OVER HARVEST! Three years ago sfcr had a rating of 3.0 which they say is perfect! 10 years ago there were 20 boats on a Saturday catching walleyes and now on a good Saturday there will be 60-80. Pretty simple math! People have figured out how to catch them and 90% of those people DONT know how to release them! And YES I do fish sfcr pretty much every weekend once the walleye start biting! I have had days of GREAT walleye fishing but you can't catch them after someone has killed them! Best day was 8 fish over 3 lbs! Best night was 5 fish over 8 pounds! And that night was only 3 years ago!!! And now you are lucky to catch one 3 pounder!!!
