lost creek ice conditions

We fished Lost Creek for a couple of hours Saturday afternoon before the wind blew us out of there. The arm of the reservoir south of the boat ramp was completely clear of ice and it was pulling away on the east side of that arm as well. There were also some open spots near the dam spillway. The ice that was remaining looked very rotten and with these storms the last two days I would guess that a lot more has opened up.
People near us seemed to be having some success, although we were skunked. I guess next time I will have to bring a kite, at least that looked like fun with the wind as bad as it was.
