Many thanks to everybody for their replies, tips, and bait suggestions.
Last year when we were down there, some fella was using some pretty big strips of Carp meat and he was really hooking up, I had planned on getting out last summer to stick a few Carp with my bow and save the meat, but just never got around to it.
Oh well, sounds like there's plenty of other options.
I will be sure to report back here after we go try our luck, thanks again to everybody.
