Not Cabela's fault. They have to charge sales tax in states where they have a business presence, whether that's retail stores, warehouses or whatever. It's that way with any company. If BPS ever opens a store in Idaho (which may not be that far off as they are opening one in Tacoma, WA soon), the same thing will happen. When I lived in WA I didn't order much through Amazon because of the sales tax issue.
If you live close to the store, I find not having to pay shipping usually makes up for having to pay sales tax.
