I have been going long enough to Sportsmans where I feel like I have a feel for the personnel. My one trip to the Cabelas in Boise, I felt like I was in this giant sports hopper where they just wanted to grab my money and send me out the door. To slick for my taste. And for the things that I am interested in their prices didn't seem any better than anywhere else. Being that we are the gateway to jellystone and many great fisheries, I have been surprised that they haven't put one in here sooner. If you have ever spent a day even on the South Fork just look at all that brand new gear people are wearing. A lot of the days I don't even know the languages that are being spoke, many diversities. I hope that competition will be good. A guy at Sportman's yesterday told me that their ice fishing business shot up 70% this year. I can't get them to deal on anything! Maybe this will get them to look at things differently like they aren't the only player on the block!
