Let me second everything WindRiver said I made it out there by 3:00PM. I also tested the boat ramp made it out 100 meters with test holes to an area with 3/4'' rotten ice heard a pop got out of there. Went to the ramps with the stair case and tried to get to another perch spot, found 1'' of ice. The only fishing is by the private boat docks, probably a 20 acre area. Did well for kokes and even fished till 7:30 PM with the lantern; at night it was hard to get them to bite, but with changing up your jigging pattern they eventually hit. At this time there were no large schools, but there was always one or two under the ice at various depths. Had a blast! With this being said kokes were 12-13'' and fat, but with the weather of this week and the little ice we have it is just going to get worse. I would not try it after Tuesday. and please wear a life vest and do not use the main boat ramp; don't even be tempted! This could have been a monumental koke year!
