Unless you want to catch more fish . Thats the reason I do .
I see no reason at all for you to catch more fish using WD-40 than someone who is not.
What lures or bait do you spray it on? Do you spray it on everything? Spoons? Crankbaits? Jigs? Worms? Cutbait?
Let me come a long with you and fish the exact same method (or any other method) and let me show you how wrong you are.
I've heard other wacky claims from fisherman, I think the WD-40 thing is the wackiest of them all though. Some catfisherman swear that rotten baits work better for catfish than freshly cut baits (cutbait: sucker, chubs, etc). They are just wrong. And stubborn. (Stubborn enough to take the time and effort to spoil various baits and then use those baits, ie, transport the smelly mess in their vehicles and boats, handle it with their hands). Just because catfish can and do eat really old and rotten things, doesn't mean that is all they eat or it is the best way to catch them. But some fisherman don't think about stuff, they heard rotten baits work best... they tried it, and caught 4 catfish that first time by god it works. Who knows how many you could catch on the freshly cut baits, dozens?
Are you one of the rotten catfish bait guys too?
