Bass fishing in canals

Yup I used to fish the canal adjacent to Cortez Park. Used to stand on the gates. The bass would be laying right up against the east side of it. Just dropped a rubber worm straight down and Wam!!!!!!!.
These days I'm fishing Red Mountain Lake in Mesa. I'm always trying to find out the exact day they put in the trout. Hoping to find a blog where someone would post it.[cool]
