Something I've learned them orange slashes doesn't mean its a hybred.. It could be a genetic misshap that was from an accidentally cross during breeding in the hatcheries. It happens often. And is found on many kamloops. Take the new "work record " hybred from AF res. Dave lied about his results to make a world record... All any one has to do is do a little research and they will know it was a lie... Said fish was only 6 years and was infact a hatcheries fish. But if you look in stocking history they haven't put a hybred in AF in over 12 years. Then he back tracked saying it could have been a wild born hybred. Which it wasn't... I had a long talk with the guy who skinned , gutted, and clipped the ear for tests. He pointed it out to me that it was a lie. It still is a state record but not a world record... And not a hybred...
