Greetings all! New here to the forum but I find this conversation very interesting. I'm a big fella and love to fish. Last year my 9' pontoon frame finally gave up the ghost which puts me on the hunt for a new platform. When the $$$ becomes available I'm going to invest in the Hobie 14' Pro-Angler". I love the fact that it is specifically designed for bass fishing. The design of the hull allows anglers to stand up and sight fish...which I think is really cool. The pedal powered Mirage Drive makes it possible to navigate without the use of a paddle. Lots of rod and gear storage all over and the thing has a generous payload capacity of 600lbs! [shocked] No I don't work for Hobie or a local shop, I just love to fish. I guess my only point is...I'm pretty sure I'd be very happy to own one or two of these things...but be prepared for sticker shock...it not cheap!
