I would say you're comparing apples to oranges when it comes to a kayak vs a pontoon. how do you figure a kayak is more stable than a wide pontoon? and I disagree with a kayak being a better fishing platform. it might have a couple advantages, but none in my opinion that you would care too much about if you're buying for a fishing vessel. have you seen how you can deck out a pontoon? anyway, just my opinion and to each their own. back to the perch[fishin]
