I was there today for the 1st time. Like has been stated it started off beautiful and then the wind from hell came up. It snapped my ice tent ropes and ripped a couple seems. Thanks to the guys who helped get that tent under control. My son and I were blown off our feet and drug down the ice by my parasail/ice tent.
We kept 40 perch 35 of them were 6-9"ers five of them were 10"ers. No jumbos but a good perch chowder all the same. Sorry the wind kept me from going around and being sociable.
The ice was getting scary around the ramp at 3pm. I wouldn't try getting on in the dark.
