You need to be really careful ice fishing at Salmon Falls. I fish there quite a bit during the summer and there can be some great walleye action but the ice fishing can be pretty tricky. The ice out there can be pretty treacherous so you'll definitely want to connect with some local guys on this forum who can help guide you in the right direction. Unfortunately no live bait can be used in Idaho but I know those same local guys manage to find some walleyes here and there. The trout fishing can be great in the winter out there and there are some very good sized trout in that body of water which are always fun to wrestle out with light tackle.
