I would have your kids use rods instead of tip ups . Because with a tip up you have to land the fish hand over hand . I like Ugly Stixs for my Jaw Jackers . Cal ranch sells a Eagle Claw Combo that I like for bigger fish . The rod is 36 inches and Yellow , they are around 20 bucks for thr combo .
