I can't use a regular catalytic heater, so I would have to modify a shanty to take a vented stove. Then I would have to haul a tent, stove, propane, auger etc. I do have a sled, but I think I would be frozen solid by they time I got the tent etc out on the lake and up.

I like a bit warmer temps, and I am sure I will give it a try again. Above freezing and I will probably be too tempted to just fish a river!!
