I think it's more of the spirit of the law Cliff, now if you would have said you were targeting Bass and the Kokes' kept taking your dropshot and you just released them then it would be all good, like a by catch, but since you said you were targeting them it didn't sound quite right. My .02

But nothing technically illegal as long as not kept.
