Ill disagree on the harvest of big fish being more from the ice crowd over the soft deck folks. Every time I have fished it in the summer over 75% of the boats that are taking out while we are putting in or taking out have full limits of fish. I always try to be friendly at the docks but also have an ulterior motive of taking my own sample of whos keeping fish.

Fishing the hard deck quite frankly the access sucks as soon as any snow hits. Most just plunk down close to the state and county access and dont get more than 150 yards from them.
