For sheer numbers of smallies nothing has come close to a Texas rigged smallie beaver. 3/16 oz with a 3/0 wide gap hook. Problem is its hard to weed through all the 10" fish. On the other end if you use the standard size catch rate is cut down to a 3rd and size doesn't really go up.
Favorite crank is bandit 300's black chartreuse and natural shad.
The number one overall winner for quality fish for me still is a weightless senko though.
