Hey I have a question for you, back in the 80's and 90's it used to seem like the Bear Lake fish were snakes, long and skinny and in general not very healthy... Now it seems like some really nice fish are coming out of the lake... What's your take on what has changed since then? Do you think it's all the new habitat that has grown around the edges since the drouth years and low water? That in turn raises more bait fish and feeds the predators? I can't think the cisco have increased in numbers to better feed the trout, even though I know they are a major part of the trout diet... But it seems like something has improved... I heard that Flamming Gorge was so good in the early years because of all the trees and brush that were flooded when the dam filled, and as that has disappeared the fishing has dropped off and isn't as good as it once was... Don't know if that is true, but I have heard it spoken before... It kind of makes sense but just wondering what your thoughts are since you seem to be more experienced on those lakes... Thanks J
