Are you kidding me!
Lost you half way. ...
It's easy to fall into the trap of believing what you are told by seemingly trustworthy authorities as friends and family and far too many don't see the hidden deceptions of main stream media which is especially skilled at deception. Some of which is insidiously disguised by simply clever choices of wording media chooses for us.

But, in this world of so many things being decided for us by others, each of us has ultimate control of which words we choose to use.

As our Founding Fathers admonished us: "be ever vigilant!"

"Extremists" is a term often deliberately misused politically to imply a fringe minority yet main stream media lies to us as conservatives are the MAJORITY among Republican registered voters including many that stayed home for the 2008 vote because they didn't have a conservative candidate or Republicans would have won!

Conservatives, being a majority, it doesn't fit to call them extremists.  That is a term that biased main stream media uses to marginalize and denigrate.  But, the lie is that it implies conservatives are a minority.  They are not (see my previous post).

I advocate people recognize that main stream media has their globalist agenda. They may at times seem fair by exerting influence on both sides, but they have their globalist favorites on both sides.

Where you say "highjack the process," it IS actually the process -- the process of the majority being represented by their representatives that conservatives elected (proof of being the majority) to Congress to represent them as they are doing unless they cave to pressure created by distortions and lies also promoted by complicit main stream media and the dirty tricks of "making it hurt" as in this topic regarding fishing on our land.

"We are a nation that has a government—not the other way around." -- Reagan

Now, the government is in the business of hurting us to punitively tell us how to vote and have our Congressional representatives back off on representing us.

There are progressives in both parties.

Many call themselves moderates. Implications are a willingness to compromise and that compromise is always a good thing. The gun banners would have us gradually compromise our gun rights away -- not a good thing. Compromise is not universally good as you imply.

Our Interstate highways have exits. There might be good reasons to take a particular exit and at the same time good reasons not to take that exit. What to do? Fortunately, most people would fit the extremist category on that as they decide 100% to do one or the other. For the rest, there are "compromise absorbers" that you might notice as the drums filled with water to lessen the catastrophic impact of that particular compromise. Sometimes compromise doesn't get you anywhere or anywhere good.

Obama and Democrat Senators tells us "Congress should do their job" and "pass the budget" and "not pick and choose" which parts of "the budget" to fund and to fund all of government.

First, it IS the job of Congress to create the budget, so there is not "the budget" already existing for Congress to pass as they are the ones to determine the budget.  That is our form of government as our Founding Fathers created to give us checks and balances.  That IS the Constitutional power of our Congress elected to represent the people and in this case all polls show the majority of people oppose ObamaCare.

Second, look up budget in any dictionary and the definitions mean exactly "pick and choose." That IS the job of Congress. That IS the Constitutional power of Congress.

That so many public servants in the spotlight would risk looking foolish by getting this backwards is indicative of just how dumbed down most of the voting public has become.
