Water Levels at Daniels??

I fished Daniels on the 20th,water levels are where they are always at, down to the conservation pool. Fishing was good but the standard Daniels trip, fish close to 20 inches but nothing really over that but i did catch a lot of fish. prior to dark the midges were going crazy and fish surfacing everywhere. I always wonder why the fish don't get bigger, if its harvest by the ice fisherman or just short lived fish?
