Holly crap, that is a nice eye, thanks for sharing your report and pics. If it were me I would have been whooping it up after catching a nice eye like that, it is likely the largest eye you will ever catch, a once in a lifetime fish for most of us. I bet you were shocked to see that big old fish come up and grap your lure. I'm surprised to hear the water level is so high there, I wonder why, any idea?
