Seriously? That is by far the
dest response to why we shouldn't jerk fish off their redds I have ever seen. There is absolutely no comparison. Jerking jokes, salmon, or steelhead off their redds when the meat isn't fit for cat food, just to stroke your ego is unethical. Shooting an elk during the rut is ethical as long as it is fair chase. There are about 1 million reasons why they are different.
