Well, the clouds are here. There will be more muddy water from last-night's rain for the guys who wanted to run into the river mouths, and the top-water bite should be on fire today. I expect to see some better bags coming in for day two.
It's interesting to see Shaun Bailey up near the top again. He is a total big-swimbait guy. Everyone else throws regular stuff, but when he comes to Mead for the Open each year, he throws big swimbaits. And if you look at results from years past, he does well with them.
I haven't heard whether or not he is tossing his big baits this year, but it makes me think...
