I agree 100%. I buy all my rods and reels seperate. I fish with custom built rods. Yeah, a guy can build them, however, the blanks on the rods I use are engineered and built in house. Basically, you can't go out and buy these blanks. If anyone wants to try one out, let me know. I'd gladly let you take one for a test run.
