On the perch, it takes a long to time grow the big ones. I found from the fish I caught this summer with tags in them, that from 9-14 inches in size, the perch only grow about 1 inch per year. I wish I knew how fast they grown at smaller sizes. I'm thinking that a 15+ inch perch must be 10-15 years old. I'd like to think it's closer to the 10 year mark but at 1 inch per year from 9 +, then a 9 inch fish would have to be 4 years or less. I'm doubting that at this point.
