I couldn't disagree more with your last post about the youth, seniors paying half of what everyone else pays. Those under 18 are living at home and parents are typically paying for these licenses. That may not sound like a big deal to you but if a guy has four or five kids that adds up fast. Fishing is a family event and we need to encourage our youth to fish. Seniors, I also have no problem with reducing the fee. My Dad is basically living on his social security. He does not have the ability to work due to medical issues. As for Veterans, I am one and do not get any special costing for licenses. I would be a huge fan of any active duty person stationed here fishing for free. They are paid very little and are deployed at a very frequent rate. I remember when I was stationed in Ohio, I bought fishing and hunting licenses for the year only to be deployed to Cuba until they expired. Look up what an active duty member makes per year and you'll be shocked that they do their job on such measly pay.
