hmmm.....you keep going to the offices. If you'd stop going to the offices, and use the internet resources then they wouldn't have to hire a receptionist to handle your visit!!
Of course you still have to have offices. Even for the biologists. Where else would they compile their data, and write their reports? They also have to plan, meet, converse, discuss, present, etc. They also have to reply to the publics email questions, phone calls, visits, etc. There is more to field work than simply being in the field...
