Cold weather spinning reels?

Hi spinner, OK..... if the gearbox has lots of grease, maybe the stuff is freezing or creates a condition where parts won't intermesh. How about cleaning out all the grease from the inside gears and use powdered graphite. Yep, powdered graphite don't freeze from my experience with firearms. Mr. Shimano may get real mad at you though I don't know. JapanRon [signature] |
