I saw one pelican, but there's still quite a bit of water this time, so I'm not too worried. Yet. I did see this guy though.[inline "loon 3 small.jpg"]

I've never seen loons around here this late in the year. He seemed to be a loaner, and he never called, so I'm guessing he was the only one. I always enjoy seeing them, so this was a treat.
