Maybe shipping was everything and the 65 is the naked boat. I know my frameless one is like 25 lbs and the other is 14 lbs, but the size makes them feel heavier.
You just bend over and get under the set. Hold thee foot bar and pull the seat area up on your shoulders. But, mine are one person.
My hubby has a two man frameless, but it has inside handles. You step into the boat and lift.

Oh, I use a Walmart $15.00 PFD. As I said on another post I use to water ski and this worked great for that, so it should work great for the too. I also have it next to me, BUT, if I am on any kind of moving water, I would wear it. They do make them with just material in the back and flotation in the front which are nice, because they force you on your back.
